Carvalho, 06, signs with the Pembroke Lumber Kings

Dean Carvalho, 06, signs with the Pembroke Lumber Kings of the CCHL (Central Canada Hockey League). Carvalho, who spent the last 2 seasons with the Valley Forge Minutemen exemplifies what it means to put forth your best every day. Dean’s work ethic separates him from the rest. You can find him nearly every day, sometimes twice a day, skating and improving his craft. Dean possesses a smooth stride and a high end shot. He plays a heavy game often shaking off defenders in tough areas of the ice. Dean’s best attribute is his high end Hockey IQ often seeing plays before they happen. Pembroke has a tradition of placing players in the QMJHL, and NCAA Division 1 programs. The Lumber Kings get not only one of the hardest workers there is, but one of the most mature and driven young men around. We wish Dean all the best as he continues his career with Pembroke!
